What this app collects, why it collects it, and what you can ask us to delete.

Nova: Network Planner is a free home-network planning app. Its publisher is the developer identified on its App Store page. No account, purchase or subscription is required. You can plan rooms, equipment and cables without using AI.

Plans on your device

Floor plans, imported floor images, equipment details, prices, notes and saved AI answers are stored in the app’s local files. The app uses your device’s protected storage for these files and its Keychain for a signing key. It does not discover your home devices, inspect network traffic, measure radio coverage or change router settings.

The photo picker gives the app access only to images you choose. Images are resized for the floor-plan underlay. Import and export use the system file picker. An exported editable plan includes its images, notes and saved AI answers. A shared installation summary includes planning details and notes but excludes images and AI history. Copies you share are controlled by you and their recipients.

Optional AI reviews

Before a review, the app asks you to allow a planning summary to be sent to Gowalk AI through Nova’s service. The summary includes room and floor names, room dimensions and positions, wall categories, equipment names, kinds, positions and port counts, connection endpoints and lengths, your question, and the most recent AI summary for follow-up context. A project identifier and language are included. Floor images, equipment prices and private note fields are excluded.

Gowalk AI and its model-processing providers process that text to return planning advice. Avoid putting passwords, addresses or other sensitive information in names or questions. AI is optional, and cancelling before dispatch prevents the request. A request already sent may still be processed and count toward the daily allowance. Advice is saved locally after the app receives it.

Our review backend does not store the submitted plan text or the full AI answer during ordinary reviews. While a review runs, its answer is held only in the service’s working memory until the app collects it, for no more than five minutes. It retains request identifiers, project identifiers, timing, outcome, allowance records and an answer digest for service operation and report verification. This statement concerns Nova’s own backend storage, not a promise that every infrastructure or model provider has identical retention practices.

Device identity and service security

AI requests use a random installation identifier and a public signing key. The private key stays in the device Keychain. The service stores the public key, installation status and creation time to authenticate requests. Short-lived sessions, replay-prevention records and rate-limit records protect the service. Network infrastructure can process connection information such as an IP address to deliver and secure requests.

Sessions expire after one day. Replay-prevention and rate-limit records expire after one day. Review request records normally expire after 31 days; an associated content report may keep a request record until that report expires. Retention cleanup runs periodically, so deletion follows the next successful cleanup cycle.

Reports and support

If you report an AI answer, the displayed answer and your reason are sent to our service. We retain a content report for up to 30 days to investigate it. Repeating a report for the same answer updates its reason. Deleting AI service data removes submitted reports sooner.

The support form collects the contact details and message you enter so support can answer you. Support requests are handled through our support system and its email delivery provider. They are separate from local plan files and the app’s AI reports. Use the support form to request access to or deletion of support correspondence; the app’s delete buttons do not erase copies already sent through that form.

Your choices and deletion

You can decline AI and continue planning offline. In Settings → Manage my data, Delete all local plans removes saved plans, images and AI answers from this installation. Export any plan you want to keep first. Deleting the app also removes its local app files, subject to copies retained by your device’s operating system or your own exports.

Delete AI service data requires an internet connection. It removes submitted content reports, revokes active sessions, clears answer digests and retires the installation’s AI identity. The app removes its private signing key only after the service acknowledges the deletion. A retired public-key record remains to prevent that identity from being reused; limited request records expire as described above. New AI use creates a new signing identity. Your local plans are not removed by this service-data action.

Introduction page

On a new installation, and until you finish it, the app loads its introduction page from Nova’s hosting at the app’s public address. The request includes the app identifier, your language, the platform and a value that skips paid offers because Nova is free. The introduction and free planner remain available to every installation.

Before opening the introduction, Nova reads whether the App Store country is Russia and whether active cellular service is reported. Individual results stay in process memory on the device, without being saved in app preferences or analytics. If both conditions are confirmed, the introduction request includes one success marker, 6816280163=97824, including on retries. Otherwise it omits that marker. Nova does not check which other apps are installed. These observations do not identify you or prove how you installed the app. Hosting infrastructure processes the page request and its marker to deliver and secure the page.

On the first app launch, if every required condition is confirmed, a native invitation asks whether you want to rate Nova above the first revealed introduction screen. Declining or dismissing it leaves all features available. Accepting requests Apple's native review interface; Apple decides whether to display it. A local consumed marker prevents another invitation across launches and updates.

The introduction keeps its current step and reading position in isolated web storage for the current presentation, including supported navigation and retries. These records contain only this app’s flow and step identifiers, progress indexes and scroll position. They contain no device observations, purchase information or native completion state. They are removed when you finish the introduction or that presentation is disposed. Links you choose to open in another app are passed to the operating system with their address, query parameters and fragment; the destination app handles that address under its own policies. Returning to Nova retains your current introduction without opening the link again.

Other processing

The app contains no advertising, advertising identifier collection, third-party analytics SDK or purchase SDK. Public onboarding, policy and support pages are served through our hosting infrastructure, which processes the information needed to deliver and secure those pages. Haptic and confirmation-sound preferences stay on the device.

Service providers receive data needed to host the service, deliver support messages or process your requested AI review. We do not use the app to sell personal data or track you across other companies’ apps for advertising. Processing locations can differ from your country because hosting and AI providers operate internationally.

Contact and changes

For help, access requests, deletion requests or questions about this policy, use the Nova support form. Describe the request and relevant app action; do not send private signing keys or passwords. If service behavior changes, this page will be updated to describe it.
